Type 2 – The Loving Person
In their essence 2’s personify unconditional universal love. They are the nicest, kindest, most caring individuals in the whole Enneagram. They are the selfless servants who seem to have no needs of their own. They have the most uncanny way of knowing what a person needs before the person themselves knows. But this comes at a cost. In their loss of connection to essence, 2’s fear their love will not be returned if they make any demands or show and needs. Out of fear of rejection they hide their resentment.
